Some tips for flocking and embroidery

Printing and embroidering T-shirts is back in fashion. It gives the garments an individual touch. Regardless of whether you want to have a company logo embroidered on business shirts, or have the club clothing printed or embroidered with the club logo, a large selection of finishing techniques is available to you. If you have your t-shirt printed yourself, you have a wonderful and creative gift for friends and family, for example. As a rule, you can buy the textiles already printed or embroidered from the manufacturer. However, it is nicer if you design the T-shirt yourself according to your ideas. The printed or embroidered textiles can be produced inexpensively in small runs from 20 pieces.

Flock printing and transfer foil printing

There are a few details to consider when choosing the right printing technique. For example, you can not only have Custom T-shirts label printing Dubai with a transfer film. Because if a large area is provided with a textile print, it must be noted that the textile is no longer too flexible at this point. There may be unsightly cracks in the transfer film, which cannot be repaired even if you iron it on again. In this case, flock printing is recommended. Because with this process, the print remains elastic.

Flock printing is a high quality textile printing variant. A special film with a velvety and soft surface is used in a flocking process. The flocking itself is made on the basis of viscose fibers so that the material looks like new even after being washed several times.

A large selection of colors is available for the design of the print. The colors themselves are plotted individually and thus also allow color gradients. The flocking process is characterized by high washing resistance and light fastness. If properly cared for, the clothing retains its good quality longer than is the case with conventional transfer printing.

Information on the care of embroidered and printed textiles

Flocked textiles can be washed at up to 60 ° C. We recommend using a mild detergent that is gentle on the colors. The flocked surfaces swell with water and any signs of wear and pressure marks disappear. The constant rotation of the washing machine drum, however, puts a relatively high load on the textiles. For this reason, you should wash all flocked textiles inside out. This prevents direct abrasion during the wash cycle. In order to preserve the quality of the flocked surface longer, you should use a mild detergent at the end of the wash cycle. Bleach must not be used in flock printing. After washing, the garment can be ironed inside out. All printed textiles may only be dried in cold air in the tumble dryer.

The most durable variant of textile finishing is embroidery service in Dubai. The maintenance of embroidery is a little different from flock or transfer printing. These are basically characterized by the highest level of wash and light resistance, as well as durability. Because the embroidery thread allows all the stretching of the fabric and in terms of the color fastness of the yarns, the embroidery process is the highest quality and most versatile method of textile finishing.

Embroidered textiles should generally be washed up to 40 °C. It is essential to avoid using bleach and tumble drying. The embroidery must not come into contact with an iron. Therefore, please iron the textile on the back.
